Cheese & Tomato with Posh Lettuce

The humble iceberg simply won’t do for Jean Thornton who has expertly crafted two types of ‘frilly’ lettuce to add to  her exquisitely knitted cheese and tomato sandwiches. Well done Jean, and thank you very much – we’ll add these to the display pronto!

If you haven’t yet knitted us a sandwich just remember that time is of the essence – your sandwich must reach us in time for the finale event on Saturday 15th September to be in with a chance of winning a prize! So what are you waiting for? Get knitting!
