Nets, Knots & Knitting!

Our maritime themed craft activity programme kicks off this Saturday with the first of Angela Knipe’s exclusive ‘Knit-a-Fish’ workshops. Angela is well-known for her quirky felt and knitting jewellery designs and exhibits widely in galleries across Yorkshire. We are delighted that she will be running a workshop especially for the Captain Cook Memorial Museum this Saturday! Come along and try your hand at knitted prawns and seafood sarnies to add to the Great Sandwich Picknit competition (or take your creation home as a souvenir!)

The workshop takes place from 2-4 pm, suitable for all ages/abilities, materials provided. We only have a few places left now so if you’d like to take part call the museum on 01947 601900 or email cookmuseum@tiscali.co.uk.
